Now that we live on the same time zone as grandma and grandpa, it's going to be easier for road trips! They came a few weeks ago to hang out with me! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us and was raining almost every day, but I still had a blast with them!
We went to "Touch-a-Truck" fundraising event. It was pretty crowded...but, who wouldn't want to touch a cement truck, garbage truck, tow truck, etc etc!

Brunch and park (it's hard to stay still for a quick photo)

Brooklyn Botanical Garden

I love when grandma reads to me!

Mmmm...kale juice! Seriously, I like it!

Painting with grandma. Papa gets his creative side from grandma.

Geoff's parents were in town, so we had brunch with the Halbers. (Oh! and thanks for the books Elli and Mike! I love them!)

Since the brunch spot was near papa and Geoff's office, we all took a stroll over there...basically to play table tennis. Amber and I were discussing ping pong balls.

Then we strolled through Central Park, road the merry-go-round, ate pretzels, watched the butterflies, listen to music, watched performers and painters, and just relaxed.

Watching the ducks and turtles and boats. And discussing who's playing with what truck when we get back home.

Came across an aftermath of a powder paint fight at Pratt.

Thanks grandma and grandpa for coming! Can't wait to see you again!
