Here's us setting up.

Putting on the hanbok. Three against one! Not fair!!!

Starting to get nervous, if you could only see my view.

Yep, I'm officially upset.

Papa trying to calm me down.

Then it was time for the Doljabi, which is a traditional ceremony where I'm suppose to pick an item that represents my destiny. Obviously these are not the traditional items, mama and papa just wanted to have fun with them.
Mama showing me each one, but I was frozen scared.

Then cousin Olivia thought maybe she could calm me down by sitting next to me.

But of course....

After time has passed, I began to feel a little bit more comfortable with people surrounding me, and with much anticipation, I chose...

And with excitement, everyone yelled "yay"!!! And I got scared again!

But as people were gathering things and getting ready to leave, I was able to sit down with Halmoni and have some late lunch.

Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating my Doljanchi!

Papa designed this poster for anyone to take at the party. Here's a shot while they were being printed.

p.s. mama and papa didn't get a chance to take much photos, if anyone would like to send them, please do! Oh! Thank you Gary for helping us take some photos!
