Follow the leader

A new way to make sure I didn't get lost or get distracted on walks.

Play group

Mama hosted a play date with her Castro playgroup several weeks ago. We didn't expect many people to come since it was raining a lot, but actually, a lot of people came! And this wasn't even everyone shown in this photo! Boy was it crowded! But we had fun anyway!

Update part III and a 1/2 (does that work?)

Yes, I have to do it again.
IMG_8551

After grandma and grandpa left, mama's friend Caroline-eemo came to visit again. I know, she was here not too long ago, but this trip was planned far before her previous trip a month ago.

We took a walk to Hayes Valley for brunch at Bar Jules.

Laugh all you want!

I have also been taking swimming lessons! At first I thought it was a huge bath, but I now know it's actually a pool. We sing songs and do some exercises to get us ready to swim on our own. Thanks Caroline-eemo for taking photos!

If I don't move, people won't know I'm on this floating duck device.

Going under!

But haven't figured out what to think of it.

Okay, I lied....Update part III

Everything comes in threes, right? So this should be my final mass post update. For now at least.

Grandma and Grandpa Blue came to visit! While mama took a serger class, the rest of us hung out in Berkeley at the Berkeley Museum.

Here's grandpa and I walking on the Thom Faulders piece.

We also went to the Randall Museum in our neighborhood to see the animals and the trains.

Then grandpa showed me how to tie my shoe laces, so I've been working on that. I sometime secretly go to a corner and work on it, I don't like to be bothered.

Mama and I having some fun during our bath.

We also took a loooong walk along the beach to the bridge. Watched the big waves crash against the rocks and the surfers below.

Update part II

Whew! I hope I'm up to date now...probably not.

It was Zane's 8th birthday party, so he had 8 of his friends over for cake and fun!
I'm watching Cathy (Zane's mom) light the candles.

Birthday boy, Zane!

While everyone was jumping on the trampoline or skateboarding, I played with Zane's stuff on his work table.

Then we chalked the sidewalk.

I know, but mama loves this view.

Vacuums are fun, but lately I've been enjoying the strange noise when I plug my ears.

Papa and I went to Sam's to watch the basketball game. Sam always makes me laugh!

Getting reacquainted with Eero.

Eero and I are buds...we took a nap together!

I enjoy watching all the big trucks outside our window. My favorites are: garbage trucks, street cleaners (comes twice a week!), and delivery trucks.

Update part I

I must give an advance apology for another mass posting. I will post these in two parts. Where to begin?

Please don't mistake me for a sci-fi creature!

I don't know why, but I wanted to sit next to this guy.

It was Aaron Britt's Birthday! I had fun meeting new people and rearranging their cd's, duck, and plants.
