Weekend Mingle

We went to Seesaw again for korean songs and story time. It was a full house! Even cousin Olivia came up from Foster City to check it out. Also, I have a buddy there that also goes to my chiropractor! Sorry I don't have any pics, but on our way back to our car, I met a nice family relaxing outside. Their dog had me at "arf". So I had to say hi and hang out with them for a bit.

A visit from MPLS

Mama's friend from MPLS visited us while papa went to NY for work. It was nice of Caroline to come out and help since mama's back was still recovering. She even woke up in the middle of the night and helped rock me back to sleep! On one of the days, we went to Pump it Up, a place where kids can jump around in air-filled jungle gyms and slides. Most of the kids were older than me, but I still had fun and managed to stay standing while other's were bouncing around. I liked especially the hoops! Thanks Caroline-eemo for hanging out with mama and me!

1 1/2 years old!

Waiting for Dr. Rostek to check me out for my 18 month visit. Despite the fact that I'm a terrible eater and I have a dairy allergy, which I could still grow out of, I'm still growing strong! Mama and papa try to give me calcium in other forms, but it's hard on papa since he can't eat pizza in front of me, or he has to ask for the cheese on the side on his cheese burger so that he can give me some and then put cheese on half of it for himself. But things are good. I'm talking more, and even saying words that you might understand. My favorite word is probably "out", I use it every day, then I would say "more" is my next favorite word.
My signing have increased as well. Words I can sign:
more, water, milk, giraffe, lion, owl, cracker, o's (short for cheerios), bowl, mouse, one, frog, carrot, apple, grapes, pumpkin, berries, please give (korean version), sorry, bath, monkey, pig, bear, boat, ball, phone, tired/sleep, book, alligator, baby, finished, food (eat), flower, bird, and poop (toilet sign).

I also do sounds, and some of my favorite things to impersonate are:
trucks, drill, horse and dog

I also know if you're talking about me. I've been paying attention, and even if you spell out words, I've figured out that you are trying to keep a secret from me. So, mama and papa, if you're listening...stop spelling words out! I will figure them out sooner than you think!

I'm so Californian

Ever since mama has been going to the chiropractor, we learned that the same place she goes to specializes in children as well. They do Craniosacral therapy on little babies and tots like me. So mama read more about it and asked other mama's on how they felt about it. Well, my head isn't quite round, and even though mama and papa knew about it, they didn't think it was a big deal. But the plates in my head are overlapping each other and can cause "the flow" to be disruptive. Which may also be the cause to my terrible sleeping habits. Mama and papa thought, why not give it a try. If it doesn't improve my sleep, then at least my head can be reshaped. So, not only do I have a chiropractor, my doctor also suggested that I try a gluten free diet, since I'm allergic to dairy, I could also be sensitive to gluten as well. Could I be any more Californian?

Here's Dr. Kristine working on me now, and next to me is Flat Stanley, a school project from cousin Lauren.

Research

Papa and Dakota did a little research for work at Mullusk Surf Shop, so I tagged along. Luckily there was a playground right near Muni since we had to wait a little bit for it.

Then at Mullusk I had to ride the skateboard. Thanks Dakota for the photo!

Rain, you're not bringing us down!

We contemplated on if we should go outside or stay indoors with the heavy rain. Flax (art store) was the perfect place to get some supplies to do at home! We got bundled up and took the F-train since it stops literally a block away.

Then we kept missing the F-train to go back home, so we ended up taking the Muni back. That's alright, since I was able to see what the Muni operator sees! Tunnels are so interesting!

Snow day in San Francisco!

Some of you in the midwest or east coast are experiencing heavy snow. And since I've never experienced it before, mama and papa had the bright idea of making a hill as if I were sledding on a real snow covered hill.
