My favorite cubby hole
I managed to get mama and papa to remove all the neatly folded paper and plastic bags they kept here for trash. Now, it is my favorite place to be. Yes, it's by the stove/oven, but I've been warned many times not to touch. I really like this spot. It's just my size!

Wagon weekend
Couple weeks ago we decided to borrow our neighbor's wagon and went for a walk.
Started off with a trip to coffee. Mama and I waited outside for papa.

Then we decided to get a Christmas tree!

Checking out all the trees.

I really enjoyed holding one of the prickly branches.

And finally, bringing our tree home.

Ninja, please save me!
Sometimes it gets really bright or noisy during my naps. Mama and papa found that Ninja (from Mark Giglio) helped me block some of the annoyances.

New kicks
Bye Bye Fida!
Fida was my 1st babysitter, and now she's moving to NYC! Last Friday was her last day at Dwell, so papa took me to work in the morning and mama joined us for lunch and brought me back home. I've been having some difficulties sleeping, so I was a bit tired and cranky. But I'm glad I was able to see Fida before she left. Goodluck Fida! I'm sure I'll see you again!
I was so tired, I couldn't finish my cookie.

Happy Birthday Papa!
I'm siiiiiiiiiick : (
Yesterday I wasn't feeling well at all. I didn't eat or drink anything! Not even water or milk, or my favorite, blueberries, raspberries and crackers! I was feeling so terrible that all I wanted was mama to hold me all day! I know she's tired because I really wanted her to hold me in her arms only, not using the carrier or korean style; on her back. It was really difficult for mama, all she ate was a dry english muffin that she was able to toast while holding me. She probably has arms of steel now, so anyone want to challenge her to an arm wrestling match? You're probably wondering why mama just didn't put me down for a sec while she made something to eat. Well, mama realized that my breathing was sounding really weird when I was crying, so she took me to the doctor. The doctor said that I have an infection in my lungs probably from bronchiolitis which is causing my difficulty in breathing. A very small chance that it could be asthma. So I have to use a nebulizer at home to help with my breathing until it's back to normal. I think it's working because I'm feeling a little bit better today. I had a banana, sweet potato, and some milk, and I smiled today!

Lesson learned
Ummm...does anyone work here?
Save for future embarrassment
Over Thanksgiving weekend cousin Olivia and I took a bath together. We didn't play or splash around with each other, we just kept to ourselves. I'm sure someday, when we're 13 years old, these images amongst others will resurface. But for the internet world, this image shows the least of our "personal" space.

A walk to the park
Most of the time I either get strolled or carried to the park. But this time, mama and papa let me walk...for just a block. I would easily get distracted and want to pick up everything I saw on the ground. It didn't matter if it was a fallen branch, leaf, or even gum that was embedded and dried into the concrete, I still attempted to put them in my mouth. And I still haven't learned that the roads can be dangerous.

Hey! A leaf!

Hey! A leaf!

Oldie but Goodie
Mama and papa were going through some old pictures and came across these. I just realized that I never shared any of them with you. Here's just a few, they haven't been retouched or edited. I was about 2 1/2 months old and looks like I had red hair. I was just able to start holding my head up, but I was still wobbly. I remember that day like it was yesterday...the flash, the large equipments, big people staring at me...scary!

Happy Orange and Black!!!
Depends on how you look at it. It's Halloween and the Giants beat the Rangers this evening! In the spirit of Halloween and the Giants being in the World Series, my costume this year was Brian Wilson from the Giants. Mama spent saturday morning making my costume while papa took me out for coffee. She even made me a black beard, but I indeed, feared the beard. While mama was sewing the letters, she later noticed that she had reversed the colors. So, please disregard this minor detail.
p.s. notice the shirt unbuttoned.

Practicing my pitching stance.

Fear the Beard!

Here's Zane (our neighhor) in his awesome eagle costume! Zane and his parents made it!
Then we went trick-or-treating to couple houses in our neighborhood together, just to get enough candy for papa.

We also visited a pumpkin patch here in the city. The pickin's were slim, but I still enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins!

Having a moment with mama.

This one was light enough for me to carry!

I told her I was going to wear this!

On a side note, here's an update of what I can do now!!!
I'm now almost 1 year and 2 months, aka 14 months for those that are moms. I now say in sign: milk, all done/finished, more (sometimes), airplane.
I know what is a cow, dog, ball, and airplane. When someone says the word, I grab for the object. Mama even thinks that I try to "moo" and "woof" and even "vroom" when I roll a car or plane on the floor.
I shake my head "no" to the story/nursery rhyme "8 silly monkeys" when the doctor says, "no more monkeys jumping on the bed".
And I no longer crawl, I walk everywhere!!!
I've been also known to mimick you now. So, if you do something I find funny, I will copy you...ask my auntie!

Stinson Beach
Took a trip up to Stinson Beach, mama as usual got really nauseous on the drive up. Once we got there, we enjoyed walking along the beach and hearing the waves. And since it was so sunny, mama tied a shirt on my head because we didn't think to bring a hat for me. I had my first experience playing with the sand! I really enjoyed it. I think I could have stayed there for a very long time feeling the little tiny pieces.

I can't stop staring at the sand! I want to build a sand castle!!!

Papa says this is like a ATT commercial...think "bars".

They like to plop me anywhere and take photos. I don't find much fun in this.

Then we went to a restaurant in Point Reyes and I met Paul from Brooklyn, NY. We wanted to hold hands.
